CalChrome makes getting wheels chromed an easy process. When a wheel is electro-chrome plated, the entire wheel is submerged and the entire wheel receives a full plating deposit. This often times can be the difference between a wheel that looks good and one that does not, even though the plating itself may be identical.

At California Chrome, we use a combination of mechanical and hand polishing on the entire face and window area of every wheel that we chrome plate. For those customers looking for a full barrel polish, we do offer that service at additional cost.

The best place would be in cali but your far from there check the local wheel shops and ask them where they get there stuff redipped at when they fix a wheel.

Powder coating if you don't already know is paint that's baked on at high temp. Don't know if they can do chrome, but it might be worth looking into.

I think you can find powder coaters in the phone book under paint or protective coating. Hope this helps. I would think Norfolk area would have some since there are ship repair sub-contractors there as well as boat repair yards.
